General Information

Our business is based on our aggregating function as a marketer between the demand and supply sides of the digital advertising business. This is primarily characterized by a very high number of individual players on the demand side. We began taking measures at a very early stage to reduce the number of service providers (vendors).

Our target: APPROVED VENDOR

Our target list currently comprises around 250 vendors with whom we want to work in the future without any risks in terms of monetization. If the following criteria are met, this leads to the achievement of the “approved” status:

  1. Provision of comprehensive and detailed information on data protection

  2. Registration with the TCF v2.2 Framework of the IAB and submission to its policies

  3. Joining the Ströer Joint Controller Agreement

As soon as the vendors have achieved a positive status for the criteria, we transfer them to our Vendor WHITELIST. We ask you to promptly enter the vendors on our whitelist in coordination with us in the CMP you use as the basis for marketing. If you use our Ströer Default Vendorlist via Sourcepoint (see below), the adjustments will be made by us.

Ströer Vendor Lists

Ströer takes over the maintenance and “upkeep” of the following central vendor lists:

Vendor settings in the CMP

We recommend the following settings in the legal bases of the vendors used in the Consent Management Platform (CMP):

For publishers who use the CMP Default classic and who use our default vendor list via Sourcepoint, the following applies:

Ströer takes over the maintenance and "upkeep" of the vendor whitelist, custom vendors and the default setting in the CMP

Publishers who use the CMP PUR Default take over the maintenance and “upkeep” of the vendor whitelist, custom vendors and the default setting in the CMP

Vendor update process

We will inform you about adjustments to these central vendor lists at regular intervals:

  • Adding new vendors

  • Deletion of vendors

  • Renaming of vendors

Update cycle

  • probably once a month by e-mail

Right of objection for publishers

If you as a publisher have any change requests regarding the vendors of the Ströer vendor whitelist or the above-mentioned vendor settings (legal basis), please inform us of these in writing by e-mail within 14 calendar days to: vendorlist@stroeer.de. If you do not inform us of any change requests within these 14 days, we will consider this as consent. Please make these changes promptly in your Publisher CMP.

For publishers who use our Ströer default vendor list via Sourcepoint, the following applies:

After the 14 calendar days have expired, we will implement the changes to the Ströer default vendor list in Sourcepoint.
