Format concept

The Fireplace Advanced is a large-scale, attention-grabbing ad format that dynamically adapts to the screen size. It is placed to the right and left of the content and has a dynamic super banner that adapts in width to the content of the website. Due to the "sticky effect" when scrolling down/up, the skyscraper / sitebars of the ad format are always anchored in the user's field of vision, which ensures optimal visibility of the ad format.

Images

Pure image files are not possible, as they would be heavily distorted by the dynamic adjustment.

Important: Communication of the elements

In order to be able to ensure communication between the individual elements, we use postMessage. Our template writes a postMessage merchant to the page, which allows you to send data from one ad element to another.

The 3 recipient names are banner, skyRight and skyLeft.


Dimensions & file weight

Size:

  • Skyscraper / Sitebar: must work up to a minimum size of 120 x 600 pixels (dynamically scaling 100% from there).

  • Superbanner: minimum 600 x 90 pixels (dynamically scaling in width) up to a maximum height of 250 pixels (height of a billboard). The height must be fixed.

 

File weight HTML5:

  • 300 KB initial + 500 KB reload per element.

  • the file weight applies per banner


Delivery

We need 10 working days to complete the advertising material. The "Advertisement" label must be integrated - clearly visible - in the advertising material.

Requirements

If you need support in creation, please contact us. We will take care of the creation and production of the advertising material.

Please provide us with the exact assets formulated here in due time. Otherwise, we will not be able to guarantee a launch at the agreed start of the campaign.

In this case, we need the following assets 20 working days before the start of the campaign:

  • Logo

  • Product shots / visuals

  • Typo files incl. license

  • existing campaign motifs

  • Texts

  • video/spot

  • KPI's

  • product/campaign claim

  • Target URL

  • Examples of produced ads, style guides, etc.

  • if applicable, the storyboard


Special features of Publisher

  • Please note that the left and right sitebars have different widths, as we cannot fully center non-centered web pages afterwards.

  • For this reason, care should be taken to ensure that promotional content is primarily in the right sitebar, so that it is still present when the page's content pushes the left sitebar out of view or it is a left-aligned sitebar.


Important for delivery

  • The ad media is only delivered on desktop, tablet/iPad inventory is not taken into account.

  • The ad is booked and delivered from a viewport width of 1440 pixels or 1650 pixels.

  • Due to different zoom levels of browser or monitor, a very fine line may appear between the ad media parts.
