Overview Slots / Formats / Sizes
This page gives a basic overview about which formats and sizes are available on ad slots, managed by the Ströer TagManager “MetaTag” in its default configuration. When integrating the TagManager, these formats are immediately available on all websites. Glossary
Ad Slot / Slots: The place on the website, where advertisments can be seen. Each place has a distinct name, to make it easier to identify and report.
Format: An advertisment product, bookable by advertisers. Each format has unique features (ex: scrolls along with the user) and dimensions (width and height). A format can be available on multiple slots on the same web page. Therefor the formats available directly influence the possible dimensions of the slot and how much space the slot will likely use on the website.
Size: The dimensions of the format (width and height) used for displaying advertisments.
KeyValue: A pair of data values, consisting of a name (key) and its data (value). These KeyValues can be used in an AdServer to book advertisments and formats on specific slots (ex: Only book on slots supporting the format “Leaderboard”). When using the Ströer AdServer, you can use the key “Available Formats (af)” (german: “buchbare Formate (af)”) to select only relevant slots when booking a specific format.
